Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust is committed to the holistic upliftment of society โ from protecting cows and empowering children, to caring for the elderly, sheltering the homeless, and healing our environment.
In India, millions of children from Unprivileged families are forced to abandon their education due to an inability to afford basic school supplies โ books, uniforms, stationery, and bags. These children, despite their immense potential, are denied the opportunity to learn and grow simply because of economic hardship.
Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust believes that education is the single greatest tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. We identify the most vulnerable children in our region and provide them with complete educational material โ notebooks, pens, school bags, uniforms, and other essential stationery โ entirely free of cost. Our volunteers visit families personally to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
We also organise awareness sessions for parents who may not recognize the long-term value of education, encouraging them to keep their children in school rather than sending them to work. Every child we support is a step toward a stronger, more equitable society.
India is home to over 100 million senior citizens, many of whom live without family support, financial security, or access to healthcare. With the shift from joint families to nuclear families, a growing number of elderly people are left isolated, abandoned, or unable to meet their basic daily needs.
Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust actively works to ensure that no elderly person in our community suffers alone. Our volunteers make regular visits to elderly individuals living in isolation โ providing food rations, essential medicines, warm clothing, and most importantly, companionship and emotional support. We believe that our elders deserve to age with dignity, love, and respect.
We also coordinate with local authorities and families to resolve cases of elder neglect, and provide medical assistance to those suffering from chronic illnesses who cannot afford treatment on their own.
Sparrows (เคเฅเคฐเฅเคฏเคพ), once a common sight in our homes and surroundings, are now rapidly disappearing due to urbanization, pollution, and loss of natural habitats. Many of these small birds struggle to find food, clean water, and safe nesting spaces. The presence of sparrows is not just a sign of nature โ it reflects the health of our environment. Without them, the balance of our ecosystem is disturbed.
Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust is actively working to protect and restore the population of sparrows by creating a safe and supportive environment for them. We provide food, clean drinking water, and safe nesting spaces so that these birds can survive and thrive even in urban areas. Our efforts aim to bring back the cheerful presence of เคเฅเคฐเฅเคฏเคพ in our daily lives.
We also encourage communities to take small steps like placing water bowls and grains for birds around their homes. Every small effort can help save a life. Our mission is to ensure that no sparrow suffers due to lack of basic necessities and that every small life is protected with care and compassion.
Environmental degradation is one of the most pressing crises facing our communities today. Roads choked with garbage, rivers contaminated by waste, and air thick with pollution โ these are not just environmental problems; they are direct threats to public health, agriculture, and the quality of life of every citizen.
Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust is committed to taking concrete action. Our volunteers regularly organize cleanliness drives on roads, public spaces, and riverbanks โ collecting waste, segregating recyclables, and ensuring proper disposal. We have removed hundreds of kilograms of plastic and solid waste from public areas, making our surroundings cleaner and healthier for everyone.
We also actively promote tree plantation drives to combat air pollution and restore green cover in our region. Each tree planted is a promise to future generations that we will leave the earth better than we found it. Gau Seva and Prakruti Seva go hand in hand โ a clean environment means a healthier life for all creatures.
The cow holds a place of profound reverence in Indian culture โ Gau Mata, the sacred mother who gives without asking. Yet, thousands of cows across India are abandoned on roads, injured in accidents, left starving, or subjected to cruelty. Their suffering is silent, but it is real.
Nandini Dharmartha Gau Seva Trust was founded on the sacred principle of Gau Raksha โ the protection and care of cows. Since 2020, our team has been working tirelessly to rescue abandoned and injured cows, provide them with immediate medical treatment, and give them a permanent, loving home at our Gaushala in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.
At our gaushala, every cow receives nutritious food, clean water, veterinary care, and daily love from our dedicated caregivers. We believe that the way a society treats its most vulnerable โ whether animal or human โ is a reflection of its true values. Gau Seva is not just a mission. It is a way of life.
Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word โ every action you take helps us serve more lives.
